BOOK BLURB:
From the New York Times bestselling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.

Money or love? Which would you choose?

You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision.

For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot.

I needed to go far away to think it through.

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.

Then, he left.

I thought I'd never see him again.

But fate had other plans.

Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.

Carter was dangerous and always on the move.

Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.

He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.

A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind.

I didn't know what to believe.

But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.

At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

REVIEWER'S NOTE: Playboy Pilot is a stand alone adult romance written by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. I was gifted a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review through The Rock Stars of Romance.

4.5 “Don’t leave me, Perky.” Stars!

The Review:
You just know when Penelope and Vi come together to write a book, you can expect magic to happen. Beautiful, fun, intelligent magic and this book is just one more win in the “those two are epically amazing!” column.

Told in dual POV’s, Playboy Pilot was sweet and sexy, delightfully funny and just an all around entertaining read. Throwing in a little bit of angsts and you get a perfect book to spend the afternoon with.

Story/Characters...
Kendall Sparks has a huge, life altering decision to make. Deciding to travel to a destination unknown for some much needed time away to think, she ponders over a travel guide in the airport lounge, never expecting her answer to appear in the form of a drop dead gorgeous, dirty talking stranger.

Captain Carter Clynes is a free bird. He pilots the friendly skies, running from a past that he refuses to confront. He’s a playboy of epic proportion and has no desire to settle down, but the moment he spots Kendall in that airport lounge, something inside him clicks into place and things start to change. Quickly.

These two were amazing together. They were fun, honest, open and caring. From the jump, they are totally in sync with one another and Kendall, taking a chance on this new acquaintance, finds an inner strength she didn't know she had. Carter finds an inner peace he didn't know he needed.

On a whirlwind trip from Rio to Dubai to Amsterdam to Florida, their connection was quick and cute, but they also had some serious get-to-know-you moments. In those few short days, they had adventure and started building a solid relationship. They were so adorable together and Carter... wow, he was fantastic. Charming, sweet, enigmatic, whimsical and totally unforgettable! I loved him so much. And seriously, that man had the patience of a saint. He knew he had something unique and special with Kendall and he was willing to take his time and savor every part of it.

The climax was emotional and angsty, just the way I like it. I did think Kendall acted irrationally and childish. For a short time, I totally disconnected with her character because she too, had something special standing by her side and she didn’t appreciate it. Carter’s willingness to accept her, was challenged in her own self when the tables were turned, and I didn’t like how she handled it. But I LOVED the ending. That ending was ... PERFECT!

The Wrap Up:
I’ve absolutely loved the books these two authors come together to give us, and this book is another to add to that amazing list of outstanding storytelling and lovable characters. And really, you have to love a book where you’re sure to get an appearance from our favorite Aussie and his adorable Mutton.

I’ve already put this one in my reread pile.
