So much awesome packed in one amazing, creative book! Sexy, riveting, gripping and most definitely consuming, this book was unbelievably stunning! I can’t get enough of this series!
Seducing Destiny opens with the Horde/Fae preparing for war in the aftermath of Ristan’s latest vision. They are trying to find leads on the source of their enemies, Synthia is coming to terms with her new destiny and her new life with Ryder and all the while, they have enemies knocking outside their gate as well as traitors inside their own doors. Whereas the third book began a bit slow, from the moment this book opens up, it’s one thing after another and it didn’t let up until the very end. I was kept glued to the pages the WHOLE TIME!
Ryder is even more sexy in this novel as he starts to come to terms with his true feelings. He’s still very much the dominant alpha we love, but his heart is more invested in the feelings he has for Synthia. And their chemistry is blazing HOT! It hasn’t died down one bit. This author writes the steamiest bedroom scenes between these two. I could read those scenes all day long and it never get old. As well as being steamy, the author keeps them fresh and they feel new each time they are together because the author really explores their nature and their senses in the most fascinating ways. And when Ryder decides he’s ready for his woman, nothing stops him from claiming her. Swoon!!
Syn is changing. She’s been through so much in such a short time, but she braves it out and pushes forward. All she wants from Ryder is the love she has for him, returned to her as strongly as she herself feels it. Ryder is resistant to confess his feelings and this leaves Syn vulnerable to self-doubt and rivals. Not to mention there are serious dangers at work and Syn is headed into an uncertain future that is both scary and exciting! There was emotion, pain and love all wrapped into one beautiful moment as Syn’s future and the future of her loved ones are tested.
The world building was PERFECTION! The author gave us some fantastic scenes in which we get to explore Faery and I fell in love with it just as Syn did. The story itself, progressed naturally and beautifully and by the end of the book, I was in total awe of this author's talent to create a story so visionary and imaginative. And sexy! Like I said, Ryder and Syn are explosive in their passion.
Combined with amazing sub characters, a story filled with intrigue, mystery and adventure, this book deserves all the stars!
Seducing Destiny ends on a good note, too. After all the chaos and suffering in this book, I was happy to see things have settled just a little, while they wait to see what the future holds. At the same time, I was left with enough of a baited draw that I’m eager to start the next book immediately!
Each book just gets better and better.
