I can't stop thinking about that prick.

Caulter Sterling is a prick.

A filthy-mouthed, womanizing, crude, spoiled, arrogant prick.

The tattooed, pierced, panty-melting-hot son of a celebrity.

I hate him.

He's slept his way through practically every girl at Brighton Academy.

Except for me.

I'm the good girl. The responsible girl. The 4.0, class president, studied-so-much-she-never-lost-the-big-V girl.

And in celebration of graduation and adulthood, I just made the worst decision in the history of ever.

I lost my V-card to the devil himself.

It was just one night. So what if it was mind-blowing? Hit it and quit it.

Except I just found out that my father - the Senator, the Presidential hopeful - is marrying Caulter's mother. Oh, and this summer? We're hitting the campaign trail.

One big happy family.

I'm totally fucked.

3.5 Stars!

The Review:
Prick was a quick, slightly angsty, sinfully sexy read that I really enjoyed.

Katherine Harrison has decided that before she goes off to college, she’s cashing in her V-card with the high school's most notorious playboy. Having spent the majority of her life under scrutiny and being a “goody-goody” because of her father's political aspects, she feels she’s not really lived her life to it’s fullest. So before she heads off to bigger and better things, she wants to have one night with hot-boy, Caulter Sterling, who is willing and eager to take Katherine up on her offer.

Neither of them expected to see the other one again. And especially not as step-siblings when their parents announce their surprise engagement.

There is a very well played love/hate ... mostly hate ... relationship going on between these two, and Caulter lives up to the title of this book. He was broody, intense and really was a prick in so many ways, but as his character moved through the storyline, he learned there was more to life than the partying and lifestyle others expected of him. Katherine secretly yearned to be separate from her father's stilted life and as the book moves forward, she learned to cut loose and just experience life a little, all the while finding herself and falling in love with the most unlikely of people.

I didn’t get a deep connection with the characters in this book. There’s not much in the way of character development or even story/plot, but it was definitely a light, exciting, fun and entertaining read. And HOT! These two burned up the pages with their hot bedroom scenes and dirty talk.

The ending might have been a bit short and certainly abrupt with a time lapse I wish had more depth, but I liked the way it ended, regardless. All in all, I enjoyed this one a lot.
