BOOK BLURB:
What’s ice-cold but hotter than hell? Rebounding with your ex’s older brother, of course.
A perfect storm led me to this place. Ghosted by my fiancĂ©, I was suddenly broke, heartbroken and facing eviction. Enter Mason Leo, the six feet and two inches of pure muscle and arrogance I’ve hated with a passion since the day we met. The man is cocky, womanizing and ruinously gorgeous.
Worse than that, he’s my ex’s brother. And for the next two weeks, he gets to do with me as he pleases.
I’ll explain.
With both our exes – wait for it – set to marry each other in St. Lucia, I’ve agreed to let Mason pay my debts so long as I play his date. My only job is to keep my clothes on while I get my closure. Because as much as I hate Mason Leo, the man is a walking sex god. And in the name of revenge, he gets to take me out, show me off – dress, touch and kiss me with those wicked lips. It’s all for show, but every night in paradise with him brings more drinks, more drama and another temptation, so no matter what I do, I can’t stop reminding myself this:
There’s absolutely no good to come from f*cking my ex’s brother.
No matter how good it’ll feel.
**EX GAMES is a sexy, full-length standalone with a HEA**

The Review:
Ex Games was a delightful read all the way through. With lively characters, a riveting and fun story with a light bit of angsts, I didn’t want to put this one down. And Mason... whoa! That man was all kinds of yummy!
Story/Characters...
Taylor Simms has been dumped by her fiance. After three years of devoting herself to the man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with, she certainly didn’t expect to wake up one morning to an empty closet and a short note with no real explanation. Better yet, she didn’t expect her ex’s brother, the man she vowed to loath since their first meeting, to come to her rescue with a plan for closure and a solution to the mountain of debt to her ex left her with.
Mason Leo is sexy, rich and full of himself. He’s known for his wild ways and one night stands. And when his jealous brother hooks up with one of his ex’s and leaves his fiancee, a woman he would give anything to be with, he forms a plan to save his family and maybe get the girl of his dreams.
I loved the chemistry between Mason and Taylor. They were HAWT!! Right from the start, these two had it going on! Mason walks in all cocky and full of himself, but very quickly you see there’s more to him than the womanizing playboy Taylor thought him to be. Mason was this intense mystery that gets slowly revealed as his multiple layers are peeled away and underneath, you discover an entirely different man than you originally thought him to be. Gone is the aloof snark and in it’s place is a solid, kind, heartfelt man waiting for the love of his life to finally be his.
Taylor never expected to fall in love with Mason, but I loved the way she committed once she realized her feelings. There was no back and forth and even though she had every reason to be gun shy with relationships, she was open to the possibility of something more with Mason. There was a lot to Taylor’s story, including a past pain that she’s struggled to overcome. And though she’s a private person, she truly opens up to Mason and they connect in a real way.
Meeting the ex’s was... interesting. You expect someone who can leave his fiance to be with another woman because he’s trying to one-up his brother to be loathsome, but Aaron was a bigger tool than I initially thought. Between he and Mason, he came up short every single time. There was no comparison and he knew it, which was why he took his jealousy and competition to a whole new level.
The Wrap Up:
This was a quick, fantastic read that had me laughing in places, anxious in others and engaged the whole way through. I found myself rooting for the bad boy and the lonely girl before the end of the first chapter. Definitely a must read and another win for Stella Rhys!
