SUPER HOT and FAST.. a perfect beginning.

Hot Quote Pick:
"You dropped your panties," Lucas says in a low growl. - Lucas

Gulp! Hellz yeah I did! One of the hottest meet ups EVER!

All Over You is a short novella, about 57 pages long, that explains Sienna and Lucas's first meet before their story begins in Devoured. I liked Devoured but it left me with a lot of questions as to why there was so much hostility from Sienna, even though the book hinted on what originally happened. However, we get a very well explained reason in this book. So I'd suggest reading this one first.

Now, as for the novella itself? WOWZA!! Hot hot hot! Lucas is so damn delicious! His confidence, his determination and dominance is staggering and pure ambrosia to my little smutty heart!

Lucas is a rock star who's shooting a video for his newest song. He's used to getting his every command and after running chest first into the red haired beauty before him, he has an unfamiliar need to get to know the shy, delectable wardrobe girl, Sienna. A man who doesn't do relationships or commitments is drawn to her and will do whatever it takes to have her.

Sienna doesn't do one night stands, but for the incredibly sexy Lucas, she might just decide to live a little.

But when Lucas keeps getting mystery texts, then breaks out the handcuffs, their night together turns sour and she leaves him... and the readers of this series... hungry for more!

DEVOURED (Devoured #1)
Released: October 9, 2012
Pages: Approx. 202

Sienna Jensen had no plans to return home when she graduated college last spring—after all, her dreams lie in California. But when she discovers her grandmother’s Nashville home has been foreclosed, and the new owner has started the eviction process, Sienna has no other choice but go back to Music City. And she comes face to face with the flawed, gorgeous man she never thought she’d see again. The man who now holds the deed to her grandma’s estate.

When millionaire rock star Lucas Wolfe finds the outspoken redhead glaring at him from across a courtroom, he’s both infuriated and intrigued. He still can't get the night Sienna almost spent with him out of his mind, and the chemistry between them is as undeniable as it was two years ago. He craves Sienna more than ever. And just like everything Lucas hungers for, he’s determined to have her.

Now, Lucas will do whatever it takes to lure Sienna into his bed, even if that means making a deal with her: ten days with him, playing by his rules, and he’ll hand over the deed to her grandmother’s home. Though she agrees to the arrangement, Sienna is conflicted. Because of her duty to her family. Because of promises she’s made to herself and a past that still haunts her. And as Lucas’s game of seduction continues, and Sienna is introduced to his dark, erotic world and even darker background, she realizes that at any moment, she could be devoured.

The Review:
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in this book. It started off GREAT! It had a solid build up, had a terrific premise and had amazing character backgrounds. I loved Lucas! He was steamy and all consuming. I even enjoyed Sienna, though I thought she was a bit to resistant. Where the story falls flat for me is there is this huge build up of Sienna “submitting” to Lucas. That’s the goal he’s trying so hard to accomplish by getting her to spend time with him. But this story takes a rapid decline after she agrees to his terms.

There is a ten day span in which we should see a slow drop in her resistance towards him, a pull with the intensity the story promises, but things are glossed over, the so called erotic scenes are very vanilla considering this has a domination theme and when she finally submits to him, it ends… abruptly! I felt like the ending was rushed and we didn't get to experience the emotions along with the characters because the emotions and the time span were just glossed over. There’s a rule in writing that I love.. “Show, don’t tell.” I wish I had been shown…

The Wrap Up:
The book was a bit short so I think if the author took the time to flesh out more story, this book could have been amazing instead of just ok. The writing was well done, the characters solid. But the story itself just wasn't there. However, I was intrigued enough by Lucas that I will look for book two, Consumed (Devoured #2) when it comes out...

Lucas Wolfe has come close to happiness with Sienna, not once but twice. And both times he's lost her because of his own fears. This time, he can't let her go so easily—not now that he realizes that the one woman who said "no" is the one he's in love with. Sienna is good for his music, and his life, and he's determined to show her that she belongs with him.

No matter what the consequences.

I didn't review this short novella but I will say that I loved it because it filled in some of the story line and we get to see more of Lucas and Sienna. It's sexy, informative and angsty. Plus it's free ;) Read it!

CONSUMED (Devoured #2)
Released: May 15, 2014
Pages: Approx. 222

Now that Lucas has declared his love for her, Sienna is sure the drama between them is over.

She’s not afraid of Lucas’s ex-wife or whatever secret the other woman is holding over him. For two blissful days—the remainder of Sienna’s contract with Lucas—they hole up in a vacation house in the mountains of Tennessee, consuming each other. At the end of their stay, Lucas comes to Sienna with a proposition: his band, Your Toxic Sequel, is going on tour with Wicked Lambs, and he wants her with him the entire time. Sienna agrees to work wardrobe and be his official girl.

Life on the road is different from anything Sienna has ever known. Not only does she have to deal with Lucas’s band members, but she’s also forced to be around Cilla, the lead singer of Wicked Lambs, who’s clearly in love with Lucas. Despite horny band mates and a persistent gorgeous rock goddess determined to sink her claws into Lucas, Sienna stays by his side.

Then the threats start.

Lucas’s ex-wife Sam isn’t happy that he’s moved on, and Sam begins harassing Sienna—everything from threatening emails to phone calls and even fake accounts on Your Toxic Sequel message boards slamming her and spreading vicious rumors. Sienna keeps this from Lucas since she knows how bad Sam is for his music.

It’s not until Sienna is attacked by a crazed YTS fan hired by Sam, and Sam starts to aim her verbal threats at Sienna’s grandmother, that Lucas finally reveals his secret. And it’s a big one...

Amazing Finale to A Great Series!

The Review:
I put this read off for a while, mostly because when I read Devoured, I was left wanting. The story started off really well and I instantly loved Lucas and Sienna and I also loved the idea of what was to come, but for me, it left off with too many questions and not enough story. At the time, there wasn’t enough of a back story to make sense of what was happening in Devoured. But thankfully, this author went back to tell the beginning with an AMAZING novella and dual POV in All Over You and then gave us another fantastic novella with Lucas’s POV in Absorbed and then gave us this brilliant addition with a fantastic, sexy story to tie it all together (in dual POV’s of course!).

Re-reading the entire series, in order, I finally got all the answers I wanted. Combined with MORE I was craving... more sexy-hot scenes, a riveting, solid story and a more intense connection between the hero and heroine that was about romance and love and not just lust... all this combined gave me what I was hoping for when I started this series. There was mystery, hot-alpha male action and more interaction with the band and sub characters.

I loved that there were some really angsty, heartbreaking and heartwarming POV’s from both “Lucas-Fucking Wolf” and Sienna. Really getting inside Lucas’s head while he pined and lusted after Sienna was thrilling and exciting. I enjoyed seeing how he truly felt about her versus the indifferent air he cast off in the first book. The author did a brilliant job sorting out his thoughts and emotions.

And Sienna? Her character was perfect! I enjoyed watching her find herself. She ends on a completely different note than she started. Her strength and determination and love for Lucas, after everything they’d been through together, was fun to read, especially when she stood up for herself.

I also really enjoyed the other characters from the band as well as the awesome BFF dialogue. It was entertaining watching the brother/sister interactions between Lucas and Kylie and Sienna and Seth. This was missing in the first installment and I think it really added something “more” to the story in this book. There were little side stories going on with the band members, keeping the story going forward and filling in any little pockets of down time between our hero and heroine.

The ending and the Epilogue were amazing! Lucas’s secret is revealed and though it was a little predictable, I loved the twist the author gives us! Well played Emily Snow!

The Wrap Up:
All the books combined, make this a fantastic read and I’d give the whole series four huge stars! Lucas was hot and swoony and Sienna was sweet and fun. And that last paragraph? Absolute perfection!
