The Review...

I knew this book was going to be epic and I wasn’t wrong! From the moment I found out we were getting Jack’s story, I knew it was going to be unique and extraordinary because this author does unique and extraordinary like no other. I knew it was going to be emotional because the hero is supposed to be dead and this author can bring on the “feels” with her amazingly creative world and character building and a heartbreaking scenario like no other. I knew this book was going to be an all nighter because I haven’t read a book by her yet that didn’t grip me tight and compel me to happily miss sleep time in favor of reading her stories. I knew this book was going to be everything I love in a story.. mystery, drama, angsts, heartbreak, romance, thrills and wit.. because it’s predecessor, Six of Hearts, was all those things. I knew the setting was going to be fascinating because hello... it’s a circus! What's not wondrous and fantastical about a circus!

This book lived up to all my expectations and soured past them! I loved this read...

Story/Characters...

The heroine, Lille, was perfect in every way. She was shy but ready for an adventure. She was smart and intellectual but also possessed a creative and understanding side that allowed her heart to be open and pure. And she wanted good things for the people she surrounded herself with. She was sweet and kind and refreshing.

Jack was a tortured soul. A hot, yummy, alpha-on-fire soul, but tortured none-the-less. The things he thought he knew were mixed up in a well of lies and deceit and his past was riddled with traumatic experiences. He didn't trust. He didn’t love. His life was dark, illuminated by fire and rage. He he didn’t see the beauty in the world around him. All that changed the moment Lille walked into his life and you could see the transformation happening and it was beautiful.

And I loved that we didn’t just get Jack and Lille. Jay, who I fell in absolute love with in Six of Hearts, was a beautiful shadow throughout the entire story, even when he wasn’t physically in the room with the hero and heroine. His story with his brother was far from over and I loved that the author paid attention to this fact and gave us readers just what we craved from their reunion with it’s heartbreaking yet joyous emotions.

There was mystery and danger surrounding the characters in The Circus Spektakulär and it was a lot of fun trying to figure everything out.

And lets not forget the sexy, intense, hot-as-fire scenes between Jack and Lille. Wowza!

The Wrap-Up...

This story stole my heart and appealed to my childlike wonder while also captivating my lusty grown woman’s heart! This one has already been stacking in my re-read-over-and-over-again pile. It’s just that good. I can’t wait for the third book in the series, which will be about King, one of the sub-characters. King has a huge story to tell and I know it’s going to be fascinating!
