How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn't supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
Rebel Heir is the first book in the Rush Series Duet. Book Two, Rebel Heart, will release six weeks later on May, 22, 2018.

The Review:
One of the things I love most about this writing duo is their ability to suck me into a read that’s both fun and sexy with just enough angsts to give me those beautiful, exquisite chest pangs and tummy flutters I love so much. They always create an enjoyable, exciting read that never fails to take me away to my happy place for a few, mind-blowing hours. Simple, sweet and seductive, reading Rebel Heir was a true joy and delivered the sexy, the fun, the angsts and the flutters! Ending on a huge cliffy, I can’t wait for book two. It just can’t come soon enough!
Gia Mirabelli doesn't know anything about mixing drinks professionally behind a bar, so when her roommate and friend, Riley, asks her to fill in as bartender at The Heights because she has a family emergency, Gia reluctantly says yes. Not expecting anything good to come out of this situation, she’s surprised when she comes face to gorgeous face with the very boss she was assured wouldn’t show up to catch her fumbling drink orders and chasing off customers. When he makes her an offer she can’t refuse, she’s delighted to have more time with the hot boss everyone fears.
The minute Rush see’s the new girl, a girl he knows he didn’t hire, behind his bar, screwing up order after order, he’s both upset and intrigued. He’s a love them and leave them kind of guy, never offering more than a one night stand, but from the moment he speaks to Gia and her sass practically slaps him in the face, he’s addicted and suddenly he’s thinking about the future and wondering if he can escape the history he’s scared he’s doomed to repeat.
I LOVED Rush’s dirty talk! Oh my! That man had a foul mouth and I LOVED it. Did I mention, I loved it? Because I totally did. He’s portrayed as a manwhore whose edgy and kind of an arsehole. But behind all that hardness is a kind, caring man who might be scared of his feelings but finds he just can’t help himself around Gia. He wants her, badly, and he feels a deep protectiveness towards her, but he doesn’t want to screw up their potential, so he takes his time, takes it slow and that slow, intense build had me swooning and begging for more! Gia and Rush were so much fun together. Her sass and his come-backs were hilarious. Their struggle to find common ground had just enough angsts to keep my little angst-loving heart beating wildly and their interactions had just enough steamy-sexy to give me those fabulous chest pangs and tummy flutters I mentioned earlier.
This was a fantastic read. I saw that ending coming a mile away but it didn’t take away from the nervousness, the excitement, the story or the heart pounding cliffy that I’m dying to read the conclusion to.
Waiting for book two is going to be a delicious kind of ache, but I’m all in and can’t wait to see how this all plays out!
