I’m a fan of both AL Jackson and Rebecca Shea, so when I saw they had a co-written book coming out, I was on the nonstop train to “Yes!” land!

This read hit all the high marks for a short, steamy, fun filled story about two polar opposites who find that different worlds can collide and “one wild night could turn into forever”.

Story/Characters...

Down to earth, sassy heroine Kaylee Rose Burton is a kindergarten teacher for a well respected private school. She’s not the fancy Hollywood type who gets all dressed up and strolls the red carpet ... especially not alone now that her BFF has abandoned her for an emergency. She’s there for her BFF’s father, whose fancy night takes him from small budget movie producer to the big times. Cancelling isn’t an option.

Putting on her big girl panties, Kaylee Rose steps from the limo and all but knocks heartthrob Paxton Myles down on her mad rush to exit the red carpet and those dizzying flashes.

But the moment he speaks, he makes her heart flutter and her pulse pound and with that wicked smile and yummy southern accent, she can’t help but say yes when he asks her back to his place.

To bad her free pass literally costs her everything.

You can’t help but fall for Paxton - dreamy Hollywood actor who loves women but knows a true gem when she literally runs smack dab into him. He is used to getting the girl and his rule is usually to love them and leave them, but Kaylee is sexy, bright and fun. The vulnerability she carries does something to him and he’s not quite ready to let her go ... if ever.

I loved these two together. Pax and Kaylee had some great dialogue and a predictable but exciting story. There’s a bit of drama with an overbearing publicist, a demanding and intrusive public and a bit of miscommunication, which all leads to a nice bit of angsts. Then there’s the sexy times! We can’t forget those! These two authors stretch their writing muscles with some fantastic bedroom scenes that gave me all the tummy flutters. Pax is HOT. Kaylee is sweet. And their chemistry is down right dirty and delightful!

Coming in at just around one hundred and forty-five pages, there isn’t a lot in the way of character development or a drawn out story line and the insta-love comes quick and ... well, almost instantly, but you’ll want to carve out a couple of hours for this Hollywood hit.

Short, sweet, sexy and fun, One Wild Night was definitely a treat! And with an epilogue that'll make you swoon, it's a must read!
