BOOK BLURB:
The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.

I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.

He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.

I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.

I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.

I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.

The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.

And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

5 “Egomaniac” Stars!
Witty, fun, sexy, sweet and truly romantic! I couldn’t get enough of this one!

The Review:
I’m a huge fan of Vi Keeland but I truly think this is her best work yet! I loved everything about this read. From the moment this book opens, you know you’re in for a delightfully fun and sexy read as the two mains meet in the most unexpected of ways, leaving you loving this story well after you’ve hit the last page.

Story/Characters...
Drew M. Jagger is a New York lawyer who has just come back from vacation, only to find his newly renovated office mistakenly occupied by a fiery redhead who instantly draws him in. Normally he’s a screw ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy, but for some reason he can’t explain, he can’t seem to let Emerie leave.

Emerie Rose has just moved from Oklahoma, following her best friend and a man who she has secretly had feelings for since college, to New York. Thinking she got a great deal on office space, she’s completely thrown off balance when the hottest of all landlords shows up and claims she’s been swindled by a con man.

Right from the start, these two embark on a lively comedic encounter, to be followed by some brilliantly written moments that start them off on a journey that’s sure to cause these two opposites to clash.

I was instantly taken with Emerie. She was down to earth, realistic and full of light. And when her heart was invested, she was all in, never wavering back and forth. She was so cute and just a perfect match for our hero.

Drew was crass, brash and seriously sexy. YUUUMMMY! And though he played himself off as a player, he was the epitome of “bad boy with a heart of gold” because his situation and his past totally brought the “feels”, yet he was lovable and funny and full of life.

This book was filled with intelligent, playful and spicy banter, infused with heartfelt moments that delivered a sweet romance between two completely different types of characters. Drew was a divorce attorney jilted by love. Emerie was a marriage counselor who believes love can conquer all. Their strong chemistry is undeniable and together, these two wade through a riveting story you couldn’t help but connect with, while swooning, laughing and feeling those delicious chest pangs all at the same time!

The Wrap Up:
I honestly didn’t want this read to end. I loved all those little sweet moments between Emerie and Drew. They stole my heart and left me wanting more. If you only read one romance this year, it HAS to be this one!
