FEW POSTS, LOTS OF WORDS!

As some of you may know, I participate in NanoWriMo every November. I've been doing it for the past five years and I LOVE it.

NanoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month where the goal is to write, write, write. The official definition from Wikipedia is "is an annual, Internet-based creative writing project that takes place during the month of November. NaNoWriMo challenges participants to write 50,000 words (their minimum number of words for a novel) from November 1 until the deadline at 11:59PM on November 30. The goal of NaNoWriMo is to get people writing and keep them motivated throughout the process."

So in short, write 50k words in 30 days! Yup, I'm doing that. I just hit my 20k mark today. It's going great so far, but I'm the type that always starts out strong and sometimes by mid or late November, things can get a bit hairy. So we'll see how it works out this year.

What does that mean for my blog? Well, when I'm in writing mode, I don't blog or read that much, so my posts will be limited throughout the month of November and the very beginning of December. But I have some incredible ARC's lined up so as soon as November is at a close, I'll be reviewing those and posting like a mad woman once again.

I also have a blog hop coming up in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for that and I'll also be doing some giveaways on my Facebook page, just to keep things active.

So expect some, but not much, from me over the next few weeks and I'll keep you updated when I hit my 50k mark. Because I WILL hit that mark, even if I have to camp out on Starbucks doorstep to do it. ;)

If you're participating in Nano, leave me a comment and let me know how you're doing.

Hugs to all and see ya soon!
Have a great month!
