4 Amazing Stars!
Sexy, Smart and Incredibly Romantic! I love these books!

The Review:
Crave was beautifully bewitching, refreshingly romantic and seriously seductive. The build up was so well done. In the first book, we have all the longing and angsts and in this book we have all the sweet and sexy as the two mains finally come together. And wow! What a coming-together they have. It was absolutely mesmerizing. I’m completely in love with these characters!

Story/Characters...
After years of staying with her husband in a bland but convenient marriage, Tessa’s divorce is in the works and though she’s lonely and sad and scared for her future, she knows it was the right thing to do. Letting go of the past is hard, especially when you’ve become so dependent on it, but Tessa knows things can’t continue in the same direction. Thankfully, she has someone waiting in the wings for her to finally be free.

Insert Ian here!

After two years of patiently waiting, Ian finally has a chance at the girl he’s pined for and admired from afar. Working with Tessa was such a struggle for Ian. He literally had to hold himself at bay, acknowledging she was his true weakness and knowing if he had just one moment alone with her, he’d cross a line neither of them were prepared for. So when he learns her divorce is in the works, he’s finally free to pursue her and boy does he ever! I loved Ian. He was so gentlemanly, so romantic, so sweet, caring and loving and so amazingly alpha! Once he had Tessa in his arms, he wasn’t about to let go, and being with her was just as delectable as he knew it would be.

These two were smokin’ hot together but it was more than that. Their connection deepened with each passing page and you could feel that bond growing, getting stronger and the love they shared for one another was tangible and sincere.

There is such a slow build between these two. So many times in romance novels, the mains fall too quickly and are in such a rush to be together, that all the good parts get left out. Not in these books. Yes, they move along quickly after their first joining, but their time together is precious and full of get-to-know-you moments that are real. I connected with Tessa instantly in the first book. Her struggles are heartfelt and heartbreaking and Ian is the kind of man who can care for her the way she needs and wants. His charm, his patience, his love, his aggressiveness, his certainty that they are meant to be together, only solidifies their connection. He knows what a treasure she is, and he takes his time in wooing her, in encouraging her to be who she wants to be, but also in allowing her to grow as she needs to. Her life has been so complicated and Ian knows it. So he takes his time and we the reader, get to experience that emotional journey right alongside them. We get to watch Tessa grow and blossom under his care. He gives her the stepping stones to take charge and become the woman she was intended to be. That journey is credited to the amazing writing the author provides. Her story is unique and refreshing and you can’t help but fall in love with it and with them.

The Downs...
Though I loved this book and the writing and the story, I will say that about half way through, I kept expecting something “more” to happen. The mains were just so sweet together, but I felt a build up happening that never came to fruition. I kept expecting some evildoer to intrude on their romance, to cause a riff, but no one really popped out of the woodwork. Their romance was beautifully done, yes, but there were hints of an undercurrent and that anticipation didn’t lead to anything major happening.

The Wrap Up:
Crave is a leisurely build to a spectacular romance that you'll want to savor and enjoy as you take your time reading through it. I fancy the way this author writes and I love the story she’s telling. Ian and Tessa are sexy, vibrant characters and I can’t wait to dig into the third book and read the conclusion to their story. It’s going to be an amazing ride!
