I’ve been in a reading funk for a couple of days now. Nothing was grabbing me or ensnaring me in its reading trap. But on the first chapter of the first page of this read, I was HOOKED!
This Book? A-MAZE-ING!
Did this book make me happy? YES! Happy I tell you, HAA-PEEE!
It was all kinds of fun, it was intense and It. Was. SEXY! I want more books like this. I want to feel like this more often! I want to laugh, I want my heart to soar, my cheeks to burn.... I want to shed some tears damnit! I just want to FEEL some emotions when I'm reading and this book made me do just that.

Ev - Loved her. She was real and solid and she had compassion, strength and heart.
Bro and Bestie - Loved Nate finally stepped to the plate to take care of his lil’ sis! About time and Lauren was a hoot.
The Divers - Mel was so much charming fun it should be illegal. His bromance with David kept me in giggles and happy faces. Jimmy was skeevy but he was messed up. A clean Jimmy makes me a happy reader. Lets hope it sticks. Ben kinda scared me. But I think he’s really a soft teddy bear in disguise of a menacing drummerboy.

I love happy endings but am I greedy for wanting the story to continue? Yes! Do I care? Nope.

Who is this author, Kylie Scott and where did she come from? I looked up her Goodreads page and apparently she likes to write about zombies! I'm all for some zombie action, especially if its written as well as this book, but please Ms. Scott, WRITE. MORE. STAGE. DIVE romance!!! Please!!! You’ll have a friend, fan, slave... whatever you want, in me forever!! I just want more of all that I just felt while reading Lick.
So, if your magic extends to granting reader wishes, please give me some more David and Ev! David was effing HOT and Ev? She was awesome! Oh and I’d love a story with sexy, fun Mel who never wants to get married... and eventually Jimmy, cuz that man has a story to tell for sure (but only once he stays clean and sober for a while) and maybe even Ben. He’s all big and hot and mysterious with a gruff exterior, so obviously he’s got a story to tell too! Yes, more Stage Dive please! I’ll be waiting patiently.. but not too patiently! *big grin*
