Though there was a good story hidden behind all the steamy, the smut is definitely front and center. These two went at it like the world was ending. Lucien is a complete alpha male who’s complicated and heartstoppingly sexy. Sophie is lovely but has lost her self worth because she’s in a bad place in her life. Her adulterous husband has left her lonely and wanting. It was so much fun watching her timid personality buck up and take charge in Lucien’s world of sexual debauchery and lewd vocabulary where a normal day at work is to watch porn instead of hide it from your boss while you huddle behind your desk.

There was enough tension and angst to keep my little heart puttering. Throw in a lot of erotica, a little game of cuff-me-up and blind fold me and I was glued to my seat, reading this in one sitting. Oh, and sex against a tree is always HOT… ;p
My Biggest Complaint…
I love my smut! I’m addicted to my smut but if it’s to be believed, I’m actually going to complain that there was too much smut in this read. I think I was one more sex scene away from grabbing my box of hidden chocolate, binge eating and then crying myself to sleep. Normal people can’t have that much sex in that short of a time span can they? And if they can, Im doing it entirely wrong and I totally want to cash in my “life’s all good” card and get a refund!!!
Seriously though, I think two or three of the sex scenes could have been cut out towards the end and more story added to propel the characters forward faster.
The Wrap Up:
WHYYYYY! Knight & Play leaves off with a HUGE cliffy! Sign me up for the next round because I'm stalking this book until the next one is released!! This book was 200 pages of HOT! This book was super spicy and super steamy! And I bow before the Goddess of Smut and proclaim this book, Naughty! It’s one I'll definitely re-read!
